Para ser programado para cirugia, usted debió haber sido revisado previamente por nuestros oftalmólogos que han determinado que es candidato para la cirugia a realizarse.

¿Esta su valoración preoperatoria completa?
Los estudios solicitados para cada cirugía son diferentes por lo que su oftalmólogo podrá indicarle si falta algún estudio por realizar previo a su cirugía.
¿Debo suspender algún medicamento previo a la cirugía?
No todos los medicamentos deben suspenderse para todas la cirugías. Su oftalmólogo podrá indicarle si es necesario suspender algún medicamento previo a la cirugía.
¿Me llamarán para confirmar mi cita de cirugía?
Un día antes de la cirugía, le llamaremos para re-confirmar su asistencia a cirugía y nuevamente comentarles las indicaciones pre-operatorias.
¿Como debo ir preparado a la cirugia?
Estas son la recomendaciones generales para pacientes que serán sometidos a cirugía oftalmológica general quedando excluida cirugías refractivas con laser como FemtoLASIK, TransPRK o PresbyMAX.

Is your preoperative assessment complete?
The studies requested for each surgery are different, so your ophthalmologist will be able to tell you if there is any study left to be performed prior to your surgery.
Should I suspend any medication prior to surgery?
Not all medications need to be stopped for all surgeries. Your ophthalmologist will be able to tell you if it is necessary to suspend any medication prior to surgery.
Will they call me to confirm my surgery appointment?
One day before surgery, we will call you to re-confirm your attendance at surgery and once again discuss the pre-operative indications.

These are the general recommendations for patients who will undergo general ophthalmological surgery, excluding laser refractive surgeries such as FemtoLASIK, TransPRK or PresbyMAX.
1. You must be accompanied, as you will not be able to drive home.
2. You must arrive at 8 AM.
3. Must come fully fasted. This starts at 12AM, the night before.
4. Must come without makeup or mascara.
5. Must come without valuables. (There are lockers so you can safeguard your belongings)
6. Your stay in the Clinic will be approximately 3 hours.
7. Once the surgery is over, you will be able to leave the Clinic and go home to rest.

1. You must be accompanied, as you will not be able to drive home.
