Originally from Colombia where she graduated from the prestigious school of medicine in Bogota (Pontificia Universidad Javierana) and ophthalmology from the Hospital Universitario de la Samaritana (Pontificia Universidad Javierana), she went on to receive her subspecialty training in Oculoplastic Surgery at the Instituto de Microcirugía Ocular, Cátedra Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (Barcelona, Spain).


She has since spent more than 8 years developing the Oculoplastic Surgery Department at Tijuana Eye Center serving as the Department Head since 2007. She is an active member of the Colegio de Oftalmologia de Baja Californa, the Mexican Society of Ophthalmology and the Colombian Society of Ophthalmology.

She specializes in Blepharoplasty, Botox and Facial Fillers.
